Project 1: All Eighth Grade students were challenged to integrate music and art . Students created a musical score which represents their likes and personal goals in their music class. Students then were asked to create a visual representation of their choices. Students displayed their passions using old records to capture their creative thoughts.
Project 2: Lithography Students were introduced to Lithography. Prints are made from students' pen and ink drawing on a special polypropylene plate. The plates are inked and printed using our new printing press! Multiple prints can be made. Students were asked to show their understanding of compassion or passion for something, after an introduction and conversation about the Wounded Warrior Project. Our Armed forces attend to our national security and protect our personal freedoms, opportunities, passions and interests. Some service members have made the ultimate sacrifice. The Wounded Warrior program provides opportunities for soldiers to help soldiers.
Project 3: Pastel Still Life. Students used line, shape, overlapping, size, color, value and contrast to render their observed still life depiction.
